PETRON’S LAKBAY ALALAY ACTIVATED FOR NATIONAL HEROES’ DAY CELEB

-

Since it was first launched 32 years ago, Petron Lakbay Alalay has been a Holy Week affair for Petron employee-volunteers, their partners, and the countless motorists they assisted.

This year, Petron decided to extend its Lakbay Alalay for the recent long weekend leading to the National Heroes Day commemoration last Aug. 27.

On Aug. 24, select Petron Lakbay Alalay stations were activated to offer free car safety checks to ensure roadworthiness. Motorists were reminded of the acronym “BLOWBAG” that stands for battery, lights, oil, water, brakes, air (tire pressure), and gas, being things that should be checked when driving a vehicle.

Free medical assistance was also extended to those who needed emergency care. Drivers who had to ease their tired muscles after long hours on the road were also offered a free 15minute massage.

There were also road safety activities as well as freebies coming from Petron’s other partners.

Lakbay Alalay stations were set up in the following Petron location: •

North Luzon: PEC1 NLEX, Marilao Bulacan; Parkville Km 42 Plaridel, Bulacan; Lakeshore NLEX, Mexico, Pampanga; and TPLEX Km134Northbound, Pura, Tarlac. •
