MU-X CLUB CELEBRATES 2ND ANNIVERSARY
A group of vehicle owners who have bonded together in a shared passion for their Isuzu mu-X, also known as the Isuzu mu-X Owners of the Philippines, celebrated their second anniversary last Aug. 18 in a fun family affair at the Manila Jockey Club in Carmona, Cavite.
The anniversary celebration, apart from acknowledging the efforts of the active members in keeping the fun, friendly, family-centered and neighborly spirit of the club alive through their use and shared enjoyment of their Isuzu mu-X, was also meant to express the club's aim to aggressively expand its membership and activities, as muXOP is the biggest group of Isuzu mu-X owners that is recognized by Isuzu Philippines Corporation.
muxOP president Ed de Jesus said, "With muXOP already counting more than 2,000 members nationwide, we envision all mu-X owners in the Philippines to join us. And one way of enticing new members is to show them how active we are in our organized fun tours and various community-building activities."
The muxOP anniversary celebration was highlighted with the raffling off of one Isuzu muX RZ4E 4x2 LS-A AT, won by Glen Bautista.
True to the family spirit of the club, the celebration offered something for every member of the members' families, including a "Gallery Walk" of sponsors and a photo booth, a video presentation of past activities, and kids' entertainment.
The club untiringly orga- nizes meet-ups and countless road trips with their families riding their Isuzu mu-X. Ed de Jesus, head of mu-X Club, said being part of this club not only allowed them to validate the features that they love about the mu-X, namely the SUV's comfort, capacity for speed, driving performance and fuel economy, but the club also provided them an avenue to meet new, reliable and dependable friends—just like the Isuzu mu-X.
