Sept. 30 to Oct. 4 Sinanggiyaw Festival

Residents in the town of Dumanjug in Cebu province give thanks for the abundant harvest of agricultural products through street dancing. The festival name is a portmanteau of Cebuano words—“sinanggi” meaning abundance of harvest and “sayaw” meaning dance. Activities include a novena Mass, senior citizens day, agri fair, field demonstration and cheer dance competition.
