In the Jan. 2 issue, a news brief on Page A3—“Son of Sulu town mayor freed after 1 year”—carried an erroneous headline. The correct headline is: “Son of Zamboanga del Norte town mayor freed after 1 year.” The error was repeated in the first sentence of the same story. Labason is a municipality in Zamboanga del Norte—not Sulu—province.
