Lacoste unveils the outfits of Novak Djokovic in the ongoing Australian Open in Melbourne, the first grand slam tournament of the year.

The world’s No. 1 tennis player is also the French brand’s ambassador. Likewise rolled out are the Team Lacoste’s outfits—an athletic collection dominated by blue, black and white which elegantly combines style and performance.

For Djokovic, Lacoste has developed two ultra-modern outfits in electric blue and white. Designed to allow free movement, the materials are light and the cut ergonomic.

A broken line print inspired by the theme of speed gives the illusion of perspective on the front of the stretch technical jersey polo shirt. This is coordinated with stretch taffeta shorts with contrasting piping, a stretch technical mid-layer zipped jacket and a cap.

For Team Lacoste for Spring-Summer 2019, the men’s collection is as technical as it is trendy, allowing optimum playing comfort with a strongly recognizable look.

This new collection favors sporty cuts and airy stretch materials such as ultra-dry piqué, mesh or taffeta. In graphics, a dark blue creative print of textured and shaded diagonal lines is the dominant pattern on a zip-neck black polo or the top of a white polo.

A touch of fantasy is set in the sobriety of black or white stretch taffeta shorts.

The women’s line has a more feminine look—transparency of coral and blue printed mesh yokes on the back and neckline of a skater dress and an open doublestrap tank top, or the box pleat of a technical jersey skirt.

More timeless, the white pleated skirt is worn with a turquoise technical jersey T-shirt embellished by mesh yokes on the sides and a rounded white band which structures its back.

The 2019 recruits wearing the Team Lacoste collection in Melbourne are Anett Kontaveit (Estonia), ranked 20, 23 years old, reached the quarterfinals in Wimbledon last year; Bernarda Pera (United States), 24; Swiss Jil Teichmann; and Marius Copil of Romania. Lacoste is exclusively dis- tributed by Stores Specialists Inc., located at Central Square in Bonifacio High Street Central, Alabang Town Center, Eastwood Mall, Estancia in Capitol Commons, Fairview
