OLD NAVY PHILIPPINES DONATES MEAL PACKS FOR 22,000 CHILDREN
In the recent Christmas season, Old Navy Philippines concluded its monthlong campaign with Rise Against Hunger Philippines (RAHP) and donated 1,800 Fortified Meal Packs for RAHP’s feeding program.
Funds from the donation came from generous Old Navy customers who purchased Fortified Meal Packs worth P100 at Old Navy stores. In return, customers enjoyed P100 off when they purchased any Old Navy item.
Each Fortified Meal pack is enough to feed 12 to 15 children with food enriched with the vitamins and minerals they need.
Specialty Lifestyle Concepts Inc., a subsidiary of Stores Specialists Group Inc. which exclusively distributes Old Navy in the Philippines, gathered their employees at Bonifacio High Street and packed Fortified Meals to feed 22,000 children.
Formerly known as Stop Hunger Now, Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030.
