WIDUS FOUNDATION REHABILITATES ANGELES CITY LIBRARY
Just in time for the celebration of the 60th Public Library Day, Widus Foundation Inc. (WFI) gave Angeles City Public Library a big boost by donating an Information and Technology Center, a Leisure Reading Center, and a Center for Kapampangan Cultural Heritage to the learning facility made open to the public last March 11. The turnover was led by WFI Executive Director, Neki Liwanag; Widus Human Resources Director, Ana Christi Galura; and Widus General Manager, Tarek Aouini; together with Angeles City Mayor, Ed Pamintuan; Vice Mayor, Bryan Nepomuceno; PAGCOR Gaming and Licensing Development Department Head, Atty. Angeline Papica-Entienza; and PAGCOR-Casino Filipino Angeles Sr. Customer Relations driguez, Officer, Jr. Oscar RoThe P1.6-M library rehabilitation project included installation of 12 desktop com- puter units with printers, donation of 12 mesh chairs, metal frame bookshelves, a sala set, and a newly refurbished office set-up for the Language Ser- vice Unit, equipped with its own desktop computer, laptop and LCD projector.
