GOING BY A ‘STUDENT FIRST’ MANTRA

School’s out, but not for parents who, as one academic year concludes, are already preparing to set things in order for their kids next school year.
Most especially for parents who have children in college, preparations include looking for an apartment or a condominium that will serve as their child’s homewhile in university.
It was in the ’ 90s when Tomas P. Lorenzo noticed how thhe students’ living quarters in Metro Manila left much to be desired. It was then that the idea of premium university residences came to the chief executive officer of Torre Lorenzo Development Corp. (TLDC).

One of the non-negotiables to a parent when it comes to picking a second home for his or her child is of course, safety. TLDC has thus set in place procedures that safeguarded the residents’ safety and privacy.
For instance, not everyone can just go in and out of a Torre Lorenzo residential condominium. Parents’ permission is needed before anyone else will be allowed inside a student’s unit.
Understanding that security is of utmost importance to its residents, TLDC has equipped its high-rises with an RFID security system. That means, when a student residing in the condo taps his or her RFID access card to enter the building, the parents will be notified via SMS that their child has safely reached the confines of the property.
Conducive to learning
All of TLDC’s university residences are equipped with either study lounges, soundproof study rooms or study pods in quiet zones. Meeting rooms are also available when students need to have a meeting place for group projects.
The premium property developer does not stop at providing spaces conducive for learning. TLDC also sees to it that the students living in their high-rises have access to amenities which can give them the right balance of study and play.
Sky lounges, visitors areas, and recreational facilities such as gyms and swimming pools can also be found in Torre Lorenzo student residences.
