ALL ROADS LEAD TO 110TH PDA ANNUAL CONVENTION, MAY 13-17, 2019
All roads lead to the biggest dental event in the country with the holding of the Philippine Dental Association’s 110th Annual Convention and Scientific Meeting from May 13-17, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Drive, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
The event, which will feature top-notch and seasoned international & local lecturers, is expected to draw around 12,000 delegates composed of local and foreign dental practitioners, dental hygienists, dental technologists, deans and members of the academe.
Dr. Stephen B. Almonte, PDA President-elect and General Chairman of the 110th PDA Annual Convention and Scientific Meeting said the congress’ theme is “Collaboration Towards Dynamic Professionalism.”
The heart of the convention -- the five-day scientific sessions -- organized by the Specialty Affiliates of the PDA -- will feature over 100 topics. Other highlights of the convention are the Opening Ceremonies, Welcome Reception, PDA President’s Night, House of Delegates’ Meeting, Eposters presentation, Student Congress and Election of new sets of PDA Officers. A permanent fixture in the convention are the Trade Exhibits where there are more than 500 exhibitors showcasing the latest in the science and technology of Dentistry and addressing the dental professionals’ requirements.
The convention will feature for the very first time an online registration and evaluation system. This will enable all delegates to have a quick access to their profile and to monitor their CPD points through their mobile phones or computer. All this are part of the organizing committee’s effort to make the PDA more environment friendly by going paperless.
