6th BPI Metro Manila Golf Cup: AMeeting of Business Leaders over Golf
It's a meeting without the coat and tie, or barong. Just a gathering of some of the sharpest minds in business for a game of golf.
The annual BPI Golf Cup, now on its 6th year, was held last April 8 at the Sta. Elena Golf Club in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, to show how much BPI values its most loyal corporate clients. All of them have come to trust BPI for their most crucial banking needs over the years.
This year’s instalment is the most attended BPI Golf Cup since it was first held in
2014. Over the years, the BPI Golf Cup has become one of the events that business leaders and golf enthusiasts look forward to every year.
“We appreciate the business we have with our clients. But it's equally exciting to see them in a relaxing and fun environment,” said BPI President and CEO Cezar P. Consing. “Our clients have become our friends over the years. So it’s important to show them how much we value the confidence, trust, and support they extend to us.”
The summer sun was in full display, but that did not stop the golfers from giving their best swing. This year, Gabby Lopez was the Low Net Champion and Hermie Limbo was the competition’s Low Gross Champion.
John- C Syquia, BPI Corporate Clients Segment Head, said BPI’s clients have grown more competitive over the years, both in the golf course and in their respective industries.
“Year after year, our golfers are getting better at their craft. It’s exciting to see what kind of surprises await us. As for our clients, words are not enough to say how much we value their presence and their business,” he said. BPI has not only given the services that clients need, but also the trusted advice that they can rely on. The key services that continue to win their clients’ businesses include corporate and investment banking, asset management, insurance, securities brokerage and distribution, foreign exchange, and leasing. "Our commitment to you, our business partners, remains very solid. We believe that when you do well, we also do well,” Syquia told clients.
