MARIAN FESTIVAL CULMINATES TODAY

The annual Marian Festival which gathers thousands of devotees from the various local and internatio­nal dioceses of the Apostolic Catholic Church (ACC) will culminate today, July 27, 2019 with a special “Marian Night” to be held at the ABS-CBN Tent at Ayala Vertis North, Quezon City in honor of “Ina Poon Bato, Miraculous Lady of the Filipinos.”

Dubbed “She was There,” the night of charity, faith and devotion will feature special numbers from Filipino music greats Leo Valdez, Dulce, Kuh Ledesma and Basil Valdez.

Thus, announced His Eminence Juan Almario EM. Calampiano, D.D., OMJF, primus inter pares Chancellor to the Patriarch of the National Shrine of Ina Poon Bato located at EDSA, North Avenue, where thirty-five Marian titles and apparition images have been on display for public visiting since July 16.

Also in the list of harana performers are Aliw Awards multi-year Best Instrument­alist Merjohn Lagaya on violin, UK X-Factor Finalist Alisah Bonaobra and Marcy David Band together with girl wonder Eleana Gabunada from Asia’s Got Talent.

Led by His Holiness Juan Florentino L. Teruel, P.P., the globally-prevalent ACC, through its major religious orders, held a novena as part of its 31st Internatio­nal Block Rosary Marian Convention in celebratio­n of the 28th ACC founding year.

Participat­ing Dioceses from Northern and Central Luzon include the Diocese of Our Lady of the Abandoned Children (Cagayan Valley, Isabela, Tuguegarao, Quirino & Nueva Vizcaya); Diocese of Our Lady of La Salette (Ilocos and C.A.R.); Diocese of the Mother of Mercy (Nueva Ecija & Aurora); Diocese of Our Lady of Lourdes (Pangasinan & La Union); Diocese of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Bataan & Zambales); and the Diocese of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Bulacan & Valenzuela). From Metro Manila: Diocese of the Immaculate Conception (Caloocan, Malabon & Navotas); Diocese of Our Lady of Good Health (Quezon City); Diocese of Our Lady of Peñafranci­a (Pasay, Mandaluyon­g & San Juan); Diocese of Our Lady of the Olive (Manila); Diocese of Our Lady of the Palm (Pasig); Diocese of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal (Makati); Diocese of Our Lady of the Star (Taguig); Diocese of Our Lady of Victory (Parañaque, Muntinlupa & Las Piñas); Diocese of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Northern Rizal); Diocese of Our Lady of Ocotlan (Southern Rizal); and the Diocese of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary La Naval (Cavite). Representi­ng devotees from Southern Luzon are the Diocese of Our Lady of the Pillar (Batangas); Diocese of Our Lady of Consolatio­n (Mindoro, Romblon & Marinduque); Diocese of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage (Laguna & Quezon); Diocese of Our Lady of Almudena (Bicolandia); with the Diocese of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament for Visayas and Mindanao and the Diocese of the Queen of Angels for the Youth. Marian images from devotees across the globe include: Our Lady of Hope (U.S.A.); Our Lady of Faith (Canada); Our Lady of Charity (Hong Kong); Our Lady of Akita (Japan); Our Lady of Nazareth (Singapore); Our Lady of Piat (UAE); Our Lady of Loreto (Italy); Our Lady of the Airways (Australia) as well as patron images from special bodies such as Our Lady of All Nations, Mary, Help of Christians, the Mater Dolorosa and Sta. Maria Virginia.
