Cerda at Anton
Toti Cerda’s solo exhibition “Sa Likod ng Tabing” is on view at Art Anton until Oct. 10. Through photography, subsumed into the art of painting, Cerda rearranges time, space and medium, thus questioning the nature of visual perception.

Mallari at Anna
In “Full Frame,” on view until Oct. 7 at Galerie Anna in SM Megamall, watercolorist Erwin Mallari dutifully transposes his photographs into his chosen medium, appropriating images but endowing them with the unique properties of transparency, luminosity and delicacy.
Hablo at Roberto
Allain Hablo’s solo show “The Comfort of Impermanence” is on view at Galerie Roberto. Works are in the mode of the “wabi-sabi aesthetic,” characterized by “asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, economy, intimacy, appreciating the ingenuous integrity of natural objects and process.”

Jojuico at Anna
Running at Galerie Anna is Gerry Joquico’s “Denouement,” a French word that means the action of untying, from a verb meaning “to untie.”
