KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. welcomes new and returning Partners

Manabat & Co., announces the admission to the partnership of Sheila Ricca G. Dioso as an Audit Partner and the return of Kristine I. Aguirre as an Advisory Partner and Jose P. Javier Jr. as an Audit Partner, effective today, 1 October 2019.
Sheila Ricca G. Dioso has over 10 years of audit and advisory experience both here in the Philippines and Singapore. She has handled engagements servicing various financial institutions, including banks, hedge and private equity funds, and fund managers. She also has private sector experience as a financial controller overseeing the operations of the finance, tax and importation departments of a leading lifestyle retailer. Since joining the firm, Sheila has demonstrated sound technical competence, strong project management skills and excellent collaborative skills with clients and KPMG team members.
Kristine I. Aguirre Kristine has extensive international and domestic experience that span across various industries including global financial institutions, multilateral development bank, manufacturing, humanitarian service organization and shared service centers. She handled various engagements in external and internal audit, forensic, enterprise risk management and accounting advisory services. She was once seconded to the US for the implementation of Sarbanes Oxley Act for publicly listed companies. She was a Partner and the Head of Risk Consulting Services of the firm until 2014. In October 2018, she rejoined the firm to assist the audits of Key Global Clients. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the US (California), Certified Forensic Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor.
Jose P. Javier Jr.’s extensive experience spans 30 years in finance, internal and external audit with clients coming from diverse businesses such as manufacturing, retail, real estate and pharmaceutical industries. He has been involved in the audit of major international groups and one of the largest domestic corporations in the Philippines, resulting in his expertise in both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) issues.
