Megaworld Lifestyle Malls kicks off this joyous season with a festive, purpose-driven celebration. On Monday, more than a hundred kids dressed in Santa-inspired costumes led the first official Christmas launch in the country at the Uptown Bonifacio Mall in Taguig City.

Donning the classic red and green colors of Christmas paired with iconic Santa hats, the group regaled mall patrons with a surprise dance performance to tune of classic and popular Christmas songs to officially mark the start of the one of the longest holiday celebrations in the Philippines .T he kids are among the beneficiaries of the social welfare program ,B antay Bata Foundation.

“Christmas is all about the kids and we want them to believe in the season’s magic and put smile in their faces,” Graham Coates, first vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, said in a statement.

“Our goal is to inspire Filipinos this season of sharing by going beyond the usual display of splendor and focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, which is sharing happiness .T his can mean spending time and creating moments with their loved ones and friends, sharing their blessings to the underprivileged and giving time to do their part in protecting the environment,” Coates explained.
