-

Joyride is set to change the transportation landscape with its entry to the Philippines as the latest player in the twowheeled ride-hailing sector.

Joyride offers not just convenience but employment opportunities to qualified bikers.

As part of its corporate philosophy, it has forged an agreement with Malayan Insurance for the benefit and welfare of its fleet of bikers and the riding public.

“We’ve seen the stringent qualifications, that the driver has to go through before they qualify to be a Kasundo rider, and as an insurer, it’s very comforting that our partner has the same consciousness on safety and security,” Anthony Labindalawa, senior associate vice president and underwriting head for personal accidents and motorcar, shared, adding, “[And] with Malayan, you’re guaranteed quick, fair and valid settlement of claims.”

As for Joyride, Noli Eala, vice president for corporate affairs, said, “[Through this partnership], Joyride is protecting our commitment to give only the best service.”

Among the signatories were Jun Cotoco, sales head for

Malayan Insurance; Richard Arvisu, Joyride’s vice president for finance; and Josette Anne Pacho, president of Uniguarantee Insurance Brokerage, which jump-started the relationship between Malayan Insurance and Joyride.
