Apart from easy access and convenience it offers to patients, Healthway Medical has introduced services that encouraged people to make preventive health care part of their lifestyle.
For example, Healthway Medical’s executive checkup is the most admired and patronized service.
“For the first time in the history of the healthcare industry, people are considering executive checkup on a regular basis. And this is because we were able to make it more friendly, more convenient and attractive,” said de Leon.
Healthway Medical’s executive checkup comes in different packages—from the basic package to the most comprehensive executive checkup branded as Healthcheq that goes with an overnight stay in a hotel.
“When we started bundling services like medical examination plus overnight hotel stay plus facial and diamond peel, executive checkup became more attractive. More and more companies, families and individuals are availing of the service.”
From the introduction of one-of-a-kind executive checkup, Healthway Medical further enhanced its medical services through the launch of new product called Healthy Lifestyle Bundles,” which screens self-inflicted diseases like diabetes, hypertension and obesity.

In addition to the clinics, Healthway Medical uses web-based system designed to capture day to day clinic transition called Health Master that gathers health data and churn out health reports that companies can utilize or review on a monthly basis for preventive health care.
Celebrating its 22 years in the country, Healthway Medical plans to expand its presence in the country. In the pipeline are two more branches that will open in the next couple of months, according to de Leon.
The multi-specialty clinic has also begun its digital journey with telemedicine and mobile medical app as one of its projects to be introduced to the public in the near future.
“We want to cater to more families by going digital—like for instance, telemedicine or a mobile application, which patients can use to make doctor appointments—so it would be convenient to see a doctor.”
