AAP Brings Home MICE Event of the Year Award of the 3rd Philippine Sport Tourism Awards

The Philippine Sports Tourism Awards (PSTA) presented the Meeting Incentive Convention Exhibition (MICE) Event of the Year Award to the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) on November 26, 2019 at the newlyopened Grand Wing Lounge of Resorts World Manila.

The annual award-giving ceremony which started in 2017 was attended by well-known stakeholders and industry players in the local sports and tourism scene.

Along with Selrahco Management and PSTA Founder Charlie Lim, the Department of Tourism (DOT) Undersecretary Benito Bengzon Jr. and Primetime Group Managing Director Paula Dumlao presented the awards.

AAP won the award for its successful hosting of the 2018 FIA Sport Conference which was attended by over 300 delegates and motor sport personalities representing 245 Fiamember national sporting associations in 143 countries. The FIA Sports conference was held from June 4 to 6, 2018 with Conrad Manila as the official venue.

“AAP is honored to have been given the opportunity to host one of FIA’S annual Sports Conferences. Pulling off a renowned international event is no easy feat, so this award is a nod to the extensive efforts of the team behind AAP’S grandest event to date,” said AAP Chief Operating Officer Mark Desales.
