MANNY AND MELISSA SANTOS

-

High school sweethearts Manny and Melissa Santos got married at the age of 19. Like many young couples, life didn’t come easy at first. With hard work and perseverance, however, they now get to enjoy the life they’ve always aspired for.

“As a young couple, life was not easy. We had to continue our studies while working to earn for our baby. Luckily, with God’s blessing and the help of our loving parents, we were able to raise our three children who are all working professionals now,” they shared.

Today, the couple is a picture of a happy married life, living in their Suntrust Verona home, which was the second investment they made.

“We learned about Verona in 2013, when the development of the area was still ongoing. With God’s grace, we were able to acquire in 2015 our dream house. We chose Verona over condominium units in Tagaytay because of its location and ambiance. Units are spacious enough for my family and we have enough space for our garden,” they said.

Moving into Suntrust Verona proved to be the best decision for the Santos couple as it offered them great value for their investment and allowed them to experience romance in the community all year round.

“We are happy to belong in the Verona community, where people are friendly and cooperative,” the couple added.

It was love at first sight for couple Roger and Gerly Mendoza, which then blossomed into a blissful union and a truly wonderful love story.

“She’s actually my former colleague’s cousin. The first time I saw her was during one of my visits to her cousin and then boom, it hit me. After that, we’ve been constantly texting. Since I was assigned outside the country, I’ve tried courting her via long distance calls, and the rest is history,” Roger said.

“I’m not that guy who believes in long relationship or engagement. If you really believe she’s the one, then go for it, trust your instincts and let God be the center of your relationship. I married my wife twice on the same year, and now we are happily married for almost 20 years and blessed with four kids,” he added.

Since both are based overseas, they knew that having a good home investment here in the Philippines is a must for the sake and safety of their children. Suntrust Verona proved to be a truly irresistible piece of property for the couple.

Although the couple has yet to permanently move in at Suntrust Verona since they are based overseas, they try to spend as much time as they can here with their kids, especially during school breaks, Christmas or summer.

“Our favorite feature is the veranda where we get to enjoy the cool weather and non stop kwentuhan while having a cup of coffee which, for me, is priceless. The Verona proved to be a perfect investment for us. From the first day we visited the project, my wife and I already fell in love with the place. And since my wife really likes the place, I did not hesitate to make the reservation on that day. As they say, ’happy wife, happy life,’” Roger shared.

“Our community just started growing and I witnessed how it has evolved. We are lucky since we are close with our Verona family. With a great ambiance, loving neighbors, it is truly a good place to retire. I would say no regrets-we’re very fulfilled. There were a few hiccups, but those were minor and manageable. Suntrust Verona is indeed a place where you feel truly at home,” he concluded.
