UK starts ‘test and trace’ system
LONDON—THE UK government will start on Thursday its test and trace system that is deemed crucial to helping ease lockdown measures. Contacts of those who test positive for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) will be asked to isolate for 14 days, even if they have no symptoms. But the government was severely criticized after the prime minister’s closest adviser, Dominic Cummings, was found to have travelled 400 kilometers in March with his 4-year-old son and sick wife.
