IABC PH’s new board of trustees
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines has named the members of its Board of Trustees for 2021–2023.
The diverse group of trustees include communications professionals from different fields, such as banking, insurance, media and entertainment, utilities, advocacy groups and communications agencies.
Joe Zaldarriaga will continue to serve as chair of both the IABC and IABC Philippines Forum Series. He is vice president and head of corporate communications of Manila Electric Company.
Belle Tiongco was reelected IABC Philippines’ president. She is the cofounder of Football for Humanity, an independent charity registered in the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
The other members of the board of trustees are Richard Arboleda of EON Group, vice president and cochair of the digital and publicity committee; ComCo Southeast Asia’s Ferdinand Bondoy, secretary and chair of digital and publicity committee; TV5 head of public service Sherryl Yao, treasurer; former PLDT public affairs head and TV host Ramon Isberto, auditor; Union Bank VP for sustainability, corporate social responsibility and employee relations Dave Devilles, chair of membership, learning and engagement committee; Metro Pacific Investment Corp. VP for corporate communications and Metro Pacific Investments Foundation president Melody del Rosario, chair of environment, social and governance committee; Robert “Bobby” Vito of Ripple8, chair of Philippine CEO Excel Awards and Maynilad Water Services Inc. assistant vice president and head of advocacy and marketing Abigail Ho-Torres, chair of the Philippine Quill Awards.
