What Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey’s ‘prenup’ shoot might look like

Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco earlier this week posted behindthe-scenes footage taken at the shoot for his Fall-Winter 2021 campaign. The designer is known for his opulent evening gowns worn by a veritable who’s who of celebrity clients, including Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Aishwarya Rai, Kylie Minogue and Beyoncé.

He has also fulfilled the childhood dreams of dozens of brides who have long wanted to glide down the aisle dressed in a full princess gown.

It was therefore a big thrill for fashion watchers when Cinco posted video clips from the shoot with real-life couple Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey, founder and chief executive officer of Beautiful Destinations.

Wurtzbach wore a white one-shoulder, thigh-baring gown covered in feathers, while Jauncey looked dapper in a dark gray suit. Filipino photographer Lope Navo coached Wurtzbach to give a come-hither look, while Jauncey only had eyes for her.

On his Instagram account, Jauncey posted a selfie with Wurtzbach from the shoot with the caption, “Every once in a while she’ll get me out of gym shorts and t-shirts.”

A load of dresses

In an Instagram story, he said, “Usually it’s Pia who comes to work with me. Today I’ve come to her work,” pointing the camera in the direction of the beauty queen, who was preening for Navo. “She’s working with the amazing Michael Cinco, who made a load of dresses for her.” She spots her beau and waves to him.

Several people commented that the clip looked like a prenup shoot and wondered whether the couple was planning to tie the knot soon.

“I love it, it feels like a pre-wedding pictorial,” wrote one of Cinco’s followers. “Right choice of models for your creation,” wrote another.

The designer posted four different layouts, three of which feature Wurtzbach in sumptuous full-skirted

gowns: a blue beaded one with silver thread/beads running down the length of the dress, a vibrant yellow number with lattice-tie detail at the back, and one with a nude fitted top studded with crystals and paired with a billowing floral-print skirt.

Of the three looks, it was the blue gown that got the most attention. Cinco’s followers replied to his post with GIFs from Disney’s 2015 live action adaptation of “Cinderella” showing Lily James emerging magically dressed in a blue ball gown.

“Wow, the real Cinderella,” “Wow you look like Cinderella,” and “Omg! real Barbie” were just three of the effusive comments on Cinco’s post.
