Lumina: Still the ‘Pambansang Bahay’ for every ‘Juan’
Lumina Homes celebrates nine great years as an “unst9ppable” brand in providing homes for every Juan. Since August 2012, Lumina, the affordable housing arm of Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., has been delivering affordable, practical and accessible housing units to Filipinos nationwide. It has been guided through the years by its mission of addressing the country’s housing deficit, estimated to reach 6.5 million by 2030.
As it observes the ninth “Pambansang Araw ng Bahay ni Juan” with the theme, “We are Unst9ppable,” the brand fetes its status as a top national housing player and looks forward to more years of providing quality addresses.
To date, Lumina has built more than 100,000 house-andlot units on 800-plus hectares of land. It is currently “home sweet home” for Filipino families from as far north as Cagayan and Isabela, and down south as Davao Region.
Yet, it commits to building even more homes, further fulfilling its advocacy by launching projects in new locations and expanding existing neighborhoods. A remarkable addition this year is Prima, its line of vertical units carrying the same quality and value the brand is known for. Tanza in Cavite is the first location to host Prima condominium communities. More will take shape soon in Iloilo, Davao, Butuan, Cabanatuan, Subic and Cebu.
RECOGNITIONS
Indeed, Lumina is proving to be on the right track, with its significance in the Philippine homebuilding landscape being recognized, as evident in its numerous accolades.
Pag-IBIG Fund named it the Top 1 Developer for 2019 after serving the greatest number of housing borrowers and having the most takeout value. BestStartup.Asia, a site recognizing exceptional companies in property development, recently recognized Lumina as among the Philippines’ “Top Real Estate Companies,” “Top Property Management Companies and Startups for 2021,” and “Top Property Development Companies and Startups for 2021.”
It really comes as no surprise that Filipinos instantly fell in love with Lumina for providing homeownership opportunities even to low-income earners. While the units cost only P500,000 to P1.7 million, they are built to last. They are also situated in secure subdivisions and strategic locations.
Lumina communities feature multipurpose halls, basketball courts, mini gardens and playgrounds. This year, the developer is inaugurating Espacio, which offers improved amenities. These include jogging paths and shuttle terminals. It also adds spaces for livelihood, entertainment and recreation.
EMBRACING INNOVATIONS
To remain a top-of-mind brand, Lumina has embraced innovation, integrating digital solutions to the homebuying experience even before the COVID-19 pandemic forced companies to adapt.
Lumina Homes Online allows prospective buyers to visit a unit of their choice on an interactive map, as well as reserve it via GCash, AllEasy or credit card.
Lumina E-Services App gathers on one site the reservation portal and all other online services, such as the housing loan calculator, an online portal for downpayments and amortization, and links to Pag-IBIG-related services. The app also includes sites for real estate brokers and agents, suppliers and employees.
