Binge-watchers, guess what? Discovery+ is now available in the Philippines. JB Perrette, president and CEO of Discovery International calls it “the definitive real-life subscription service,” adding, “Our proposition is clear: the best shows across key unscripted genres covering food, true crime, relationships, lifestyle and many more. And we feature personalities who are loved by consumers all over the world.”

Your Discovery favorites—“Naked and Afraid,” “90 Day Fiance,” “Ghost Adventures” and more—are now at your fingertips, along with more than 20,000 episodes from HGTV, TLC, Food Network, Asian Food Network, BBC, Animal Planet, History Channel, Magnolia Network, Oprah Winfrey Network and others.

There’s an abundance of offerings for true crime fans from Investigation Discovery. And there are Discovery+ Originals, too. “We will premiere more than 100 Discovery+ Originals in the Philippines in 2021,” said Rohit Tharani, Discovery’s Southeast Asia lead, Direct to Consumer, at the launch on Oct. 13. “And we will be launching new original titles each week that you can’t find anywhere else.”

“90 Day Fiance” fanatics will be happy to know that they can watch “90 Day Bares All,” “90 Day Diaries,” “90 Day Journey,” “90 Day: The Single Life” and “90 Day Love Games” on the platform.

Hallyu lovers can enjoy Korean reality shows, including “Sing Again” and “It Takes A Village.”

Condragulations to “Drag Race” devotees (that includes us) because, Tharani said, “Discovery+ in the Philippines will also be adding the worldwide phenomenon ‘Drag Race’ with worldwide adaptations of the hit series soon to be available. I’m also excited to announce that we will bring Filipinos the highly anticipated ‘Drag Race Philippines,’ expected to make its debut next year.”

You can also watch “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula” on Discovery+ along with titles like “Planet Earth,” “Blue Planet,” “I Can See Your Voice US,” “MasterChef” and “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.”

P129 for one year

Discovery+ has a special launch subscription offer for Filipinos: If you sign up until Nov. 12, you pay just P129 for the entire year. That’s usually the price of a one-month subscription.

“Discovery+ gives Filipinos access to a whole new world of real-life entertainment, all in one place. Iconic brands, loved personalities and great stories—there’s something for everyone. This content is complemented by a world-class user experience. Browsing through thousands of episodes to find a perfect show is easy. Our recommendations also make it simple for subscribers to discover new passions and largerthan-life stories from across the library,” said Tony Qiu, general manager, East and Southeast Asia, Discovery Inc.

That’s exactly what we did. We browsed through the many offerings of Discovery+ and found so many shows that we can’t wait to watch—and that’s just in the first minutes of looking. (We know what we’ll be doing this weekend.)

Here are some of them:

‘Ghost Adventures: Cecil Hotel’

The “Ghost Adventures” team takes us to Cecil Hotel (yes, where Elisa Lam was staying when she died), which is infamous for its dark history and many grisly deaths. (Also on Discovery+: “Horror at the Cecil Hotel.”)

‘Tiny Food Fight’

In this cooking competition, hosted by Darnell “SuperChef” Ferguson and comedian Mamrie Hart, the stakes are big but the food is small. Contestants use miniature kitchens to create teeny tiny meals that would win them $5,000.

‘JonBenet Ramsey: What Really Happened’
