TRUE ENABLER: DEVELOPER CONTINUES TO TRANSFORM LIVES, STIR PROGRESS IN FRINGES

- By Amy R. Remo @amyremoINQ

At 50 years, the Sta. Lucia Group continues to help fulfill the great Filipino dream. From its masterplanned subdivisions, residential condominiums and condotels, a sprawling mall complex, world-class golf courses and clubhouses, lakeside communities, to hotels and resorts, it’s clearly apparent how the Group has been providing numerous opportunities for Filipinos to realize their lifelong dream of having a decent home they can call their own.

These opportunities have provided homes to millions of families across the country over the last five decades. More importantly however, these have helped enhance lifestyles of the residents, reshape landscapes, as well as fuel growth and progress in the areas where Sta. Lucia is present.

Indeed, in helping many achieve the great Filipino dream, the Sta. Lucia Group has also inevitably become an instrument in nation-building.

CONTINUING EFFORTS

But as many would say, the work of nation-building never stops.

Although the Sta. Lucia Group has already built more than 250 projects across the country, it remains bent on continuing with its legacy of developing quality homes and masterplanned communities that will last generations. It even ensures that these upcoming projects will readily cater to the evolving needs and preferences of homebuyers not only in the cities but even outside the established urban centers.

“Having been in the business of developing lands and building communities for 50 years now, we have seen how the market has evolved. We have meticulously observed the changing needs, preferences and lifestyles of our investors and homebuyers to ensure that we will be able to effectively adapt to the times and deliver what we think is most suitable for them,” said Exequiel Robles, president of Sta. Lucia the listed real esLand, tate arm of the Sta. Lucia Group.

“Ensuring the company’s growth and relevance to society the nation has aland ways been our goal. It is for this reason that we strive to continue to build and develop projects that would allow for a better quality of life. We bring developments not only to city centers but to the fringes and the provinces to ensure a more inclusive growth and help drive economic activity in these areas,” added Vicente Santos, chairman of Sta. Lucia Land.

EXPANDING REACH

Not even the pandemic can stop Sta. Lucia from building more themed, masterplanned communities. Beyond having confidence in the local real estate market, Sta. Lucia is more importantly driven by its commitment to provide much needed opportunities for Filipinos to own a home, whose importance was highlighted during the pandemic.

This is why Sta. Lucia continues to expand in more areas across the country, presenting to prospective homebuyers and investors a rich, diverse portfolio of quality projects.

In a disclosure to the local bourse last month, Sta. Lucia Land said its board of directors authorized the acquisition of 78 ha of land located in key growth areas in Davao, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas and Pangasinan. The board likewise gave SLI the green light to enter in new joint ventures, which will see the development of a total of 18 ha of land across Batangas, Cavite and Rizal. These new acquisitions and joint ventures will support the company’s expansion plans.

Robles believes that by continuing to develop in the countryside, they become an enabler—helping improve the lives of hardworking Filipinos by giving them the opportunity to own something that they can truly be proud of and share with their families.

“We take great pride in what we’ve achieved over the last 50 years and we hope to sustain that by continuously building quality and value for money projects across the country. We will continue to fuel the fringe and expand our footprint in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao— creating more projects that will transform lives, stir progress and help in nation building,” Robles

concluded.
