THE VALUE OF INSTANT HOMEOWNERS­HIP

We’re less than two weeks away from wrapping up the third quarter of 2022. As the traffic gets worse and as we find our days busier than usual, we have begun feeling the frenzy of another year coming to an end. The post COVID-19 era is among us, and many of us are trying to make up for the lost time. As we do so, we also realize what we value most in our lives.

For me, this is crucial. Knowing what one values can simplify a lot of things. It allows us to focus on the essentials and eliminate distractio­n, enabling us to make good use of our time and resources to better achieve an objective. As companies now prepare to close the books for 2022 and make way for another year of targets and goals, it is essential to align anew the quantitati­ve and qualitativ­e goals for better efficienci­es.

These targets and goals vary across industries and companies. Each business, after all, has a unique yardstick to measure their performanc­e.

For us at Ovialand, our performanc­e is gauged not only by financial metrics. As we are in the business of mass housing, it is also important for us to measure it in terms of the number of homes we’ve built and delivered to our clients.

When our clients reserve their homes, we commit to them the period as to when they can expect to move into their new residences. This usually has a domino effect, creating a chain of activities and events that will greatly determine not just their lifestyles, but also the quality of their lives. Moving into a new home means preparing for major life decisions such as finding schools that will be accessible for the kids or ensuring that one’s livelihood remains uninterrup­ted.
