‘One-unit, one-floor’ is Mosaic’s bold move in creating solid masterpiece
It’s most certainly a bold, ambitious move—one that pushes boundaries to create luxurious urban spaces befitting today’s times.
Rising in San Juan City is The Silhouette, a 19-story landmark boutique property that touts a highly unconventional proposition well suited to the sophisticated, well-heeled clientele. This maiden project by newcomer Mosaic Realty & Development Corp. pitches a “one-unit, one-floor” concept—an idea boldly pushed by the company’s three young trailblazing co-founders.
This concept, according to the co-founders, dovetail with their vision, principles and core tenets.
“Mosaic’s tagline of ‘creating masterpieces and building ambitions’ hinges on our vision as a company. Its young-atheart founders made it a point to showcase these things. First, it showcases our dreams—that is, to make a mark in the real estate world. Our passion to always outperform expectations and our mission of offering quality yet value-for-money developments,” Mosaic Realty CEO Jardin Wong said in his speech at the launch of The Silhouette last month.
“Our aim is to realize and fulfill what we call the three gifts—the gift of legacy, because real estate is something tangible and can be passed on to generations; the gift opportunity because property af
fords an individual the opportunity to have a better life, to prosper and grow beyond his means; and lastly, the gift of future. Mosaic developments are all designed to appreciate over time therefore resulting in long term financial, social and emotional stability giving occupants the flexibility they need to prosper,” Wong explained.
LUXURY OF SPACE
The Silhouette—which sets the tone for future Mosaic Realty developments—is no doubt raising the bar in elevating lifestyles with its architecture, design features, and amenities all exuding sophistication and timeless elegance.
But what’s important to highlight is the fact that The Silhouette’s launch came at the most opportune time when large spaces are highly sought and regarded as luxury, especially if you’re living in the metro. In every unit, residents are afforded more than 270 sqm of well-appointed living spaces, refreshing panoramic views, as well as exquisite interiors, finishes and accents.
According to Mosaic Realty, these include European porcelain tile flooring on open areas, flat paint on ceilings and semi-gloss paint on walls. Bedrooms have a more natural feel with engineered wooden planks as the floor surface, and toilet counters have marbled tile finished and a copper-free mirror under warm white cove lighting. The walk-in closet is painted light taupe finished. The open sala and kitchen will be fully equipped with Gorenje and Maximus European-grade kitchen appliances that are included in the package.
Units will also be furnished with top-of-the-line appliances from Gorenje, an upscale European appliance manufacturer with over 60 years of market authority in developing superior technology and design for home and living.
VISION TO REALITY
Mosaic Realty tapped WTA Architecture and Design, led by Ar. William Ti, to bring the co-founders’ vision to life. They drew inspiration from their travels and experiences abroad to create this groundbreaking residential tower rising in the heart of the metro.
“Our main inspiration for the design of The Silhouette is Zaha Hadid’s 520 West 28 at New York’s prestigious High Line,” Wong said.“Hadid’s 520 W gem has clean lines and bold contours, with an emphasis on simplicity and understated luxury.
For her part, Mosaic Realty COO Jillian Sze took inspiration from her experiences while living and working in China and Switzerland.
“Buildings in Switzerland are designed to be low-rise in order to protect the alpine scenery. I used to live in a small apartment complex where I had the entire floor to myself. While in China, I was able to visit a number of high-end residential and commercial developments. Many of the design decisions for The Silhouette were made to reflect the exclusive lifestyle of this generation of buyers who are internet savvy and simply want to have a balanced life,” Sze explained.
Miguel Tan, the youngest at 26, meanwhile said he was inspired by projects that “push the boundaries of design and physics.”
All eyes are indeed now on The Silhouette, which is already making waves in the local realty scene. Highly anticipated, this maiden project may very well be Mosaic Realty’s key to successfully carving a niche in the highly cutthroat Philippine real estate industry.
