ALI, GCash redefine convenience for property seekers

- By Amy R. Remo @amyremoINQ

Ayala Land Inc. and GCash launched on Monday a partnership that will make it more convenient for the e-wallet service provider’s users to browse, inquire and invest in any of the property giant’s four residential brands.

Through GLife, the one-stop shop lifestyle feature on the GCash app, property seekers will be able to browse project listings of Ayala Land Premier, Alveo Land, Avida Land and Amaia, submit inquiries and even pay for reservation fees. This kind of synergy between the two companies, which are both under the Ayala Group, will not only generate leads, but will more importantly help encourage more Filipinos to get started on property investing.

IMPORTANT INITIATIVE

“This is a very important

initiative primarily because our mission is to be able to reach out to more Filipinos. In the Philippines, owning your own home is one of the key aspirations for many families. With GCash having 69 million users, this allows us to reach out to more of them,” Ayala Land president and chief executive officer Bernard Vincent O. Dy said during the launch.

“The key here will be convenience for the buyers in terms of accessing information as well as consummating the transaction. We’re making it as easy and as simple as possible,” Dy added.

GCash president and CEO Martha Sazon meanwhile noted in a statement that this partnership enables potential homeowners and property seekers to conduct virtual unit viewing and access cashless payment of reservation fees using their e-wallet account.

Property seekers will just need to go to “GLife” and tap “Real Estate” category. From there, users will be able to see available listings from Ayala Land developments and check out the different properties not only in Metro Manila, but also as far north as Pangasinan and as far south as Davao. Users can then select their preferred type of property. After reading the initial information on the selected listing, interested buyers can just tap “Inquire”, fill in the necessary details, and tap “Submit”
