CRIMSON HOTEL’S ‘PASSIONATELY PINK’ CAMPAIGN SHINES THE SPOTLIGHT ON THE CHALLENGES OF BREAST CANCER—AND THE GOOD CHANCES OF RECOVERY FROM IT
With October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Crimson Hotel Filinvest City launches once more its “Passionately Pink” campaign, an initiative that shines the spotlight on a challenging health situation, but also with the good possibility of recovery, through early detection and proper medical treatment.
A joint initiative with the women’s health support group Stage Zero by Project Pink, the campaign features a specially curated selection of staycation promos, dining offers, and special events that focus on women’s resilience through better education and improved quality of life.
This year, Crimson Hotel highlights the concept of recovery— which is very timely following nearly three years of the COVID-19 pandemic—through a choice selection of exquisite eats, luscious libations, and a room package that makes for a perfect urban getaway for both couples and families.
Started in 2017, “Passionately Pink” has become a part of Crimson culture not just in Alabang, but also in Cebu and Boracay.
Part of the initiative is the annual art exhibition called “Pop of Pink: An Artistic Celebration of Femininity,” which the hotel opened to the public more than a week ago. Prominently featured in Crimson Hotel’s lobby on the 8th floor, the “Pop of Pink” is made possible through a partnership with the South Arts Festival group of creatives.
“This year’s collection of unique works of art celebrates the beauty, brilliance, and resilience of today’s women even in the face of daunting odds and trying times,” said Arlene Tongco, general manager of Crimson Hotel Filinvest City.
Prices of the art pieces on display range from P14,000 to over P650,000. Participating artists include Pat Collantes, JJ Duque, Gio Lebajo, Rachel Le Roux, Anna Belle Papas, Manu San Pedro, and Nikki Vasallo.
To allow guests to contribute to the cause, Crimson Hotel has come up with the “Bloom in Pink” staycation package. With this, two adults and two children under the age of 12 can enjoy an overnight stay followed by a buffet breakfast at Cafe Eight, and 10-percent off.
Guests also get to enjoy a refreshing pink cocktail when they arrive and receive a “Passionately Pink” hot chocolate set when they turn in for the night. Packages start at P5,000 and include a donation in the guest’s name to Stage zero by Project Pink.
For the whole month of October, guests can also enjoy a selection of tempting pink delights as they dine for a worthy cause.
For one, Baker J offers pink strawberry macarons, a raspberry and vanilla eclair, and an exquisite Pink Pepito pastry made with white chocolate and rose praline. The best cafe-patisserie in the south also offers its signature rose latte.
Both Baker J and the Lobby Lounge offer a special Afternoon Tea featuring a delightful array of sweet and savory delights to share with a friend over a pot of fine tea or excellent coffee.
Meanwhile, Firehouse Pizza offers Festa Rosa: a glorious smoked salmon and bocconcini pizza served with crisp and refreshing Chateau Beau-Puits Rose. Crimson’s on-site pizzeria also offers a piquant pinkbaked shrimp pasta that guests can order along with a pink dessert pizza.
There’s also the “Passionately Pink” Wine Dinner on Oct. 20, a partnership with award-winning chocolatier Auro Chocolate and Philippine Wine Merchants. The event features a five-course repast paired with a round of fine wines.
Guests staying in will be welcomed to Crimson with La Rose, a cool, sweet, non-alcoholic mix of sparkling lemonade, fresh pineapple, and grenadine syrup.
Part of the proceeds from the various promotions this month will be donated to Stage Zero by Project Pink in order to help the organization bring well-needed spiritual, emotional, and physical relief to patients, survivors, their families, and their communities.
