For me, masks are a tool to prevent illness that I use because I understand the science of airborne transmission and my responsibility to others. For others, it seems they have become a scapegoat for the sadness and grief they feel for a world that no longer exists.

Remember that there is nothing more valuable in life than your time. Don’t waste it helping oligarchs ruin the world. Prioritize your own well-being, even when it’s unpopular or others deride you. Always try to spend some of that time outside. Nature needs us and we need it.
