MANILA LANDMARK REVIVED

-

Visitors flock to the reopened Manila Zoo on Tuesday and find one of its most famous residents —the elephant named Mali— in a newly refurbished enclosure. Closed for months due to the pandemic and a massive renovation effort, the decades-old park on Adriatico Street is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission for adults and children above 2 years old is P150 for city residents and P300 for nonresidents. For students, it’s P100 for residents and P200 for nonresidents. Seniors and persons with disabilities enjoy a 20-percent discount, while children 2 years old and below may enter for free.
