BIG DAY AT DOJ
The preliminary investigation into the Oct. 3 murder of Percival “Percy Lapid” Mabasa begins on Wednesday at the Department of Justice (DOJ), but with an incomplete cast of characters. Present were Roy Mabasa, brother of the slain radio commentator-vlogger (middle photo) and the sister of Cristito “Jun Villamor” Palaña, the alleged “middleman” in the slay plot who died under questionable circumstances while serving time at New Bilibid Prison (lower photo). Absent was the alleged mastermind, suspended prisons director Gerald Bantag, though his picture did show up at the DOJ courtesy of his supporters from the Igorot community (upper photo).
