Skull, other bones found at DOJ compound
Construction workers, who were working at an excavation site within the Department of Justice (DOJ) compound in Manila, dug up a skull and other bone fragments on Thursday afternoon. Justice Undersecretary Brigido Dulay declined to speculate on the identity and other circumstances of the recovered bones, but Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation to investigate. It was not the first time skeletal remains were recovered at the compound. Two skulls and other human bones were also found in 2009.
