MUTT MOTORCYCLES EVOKE BRITISH CUSTOM VINTAGE COOLNESS

-

Fans of iconic British mobility brands have more reason to rejoice as yet another historic UK brand, Mutt Motorcycles, a Birmingham, UK-based custom vintage mot orcycle specialist is welcoming British (and even non-British) motorbike enthusiasts with the opening of their new flagship showroom located along Katipunan Avenue in White Plains, Quezon City which opened last April.

With the explosive growth of motorcycles in the country, Mutt Motorcycles Philippines brings a new and unique genre—the small-displacement retro-look British custom bike—to motorcycle-crazy Filipinos. The flagship store, located at WPL Building, Katipunan Ave., White Plains, QC and can accommodate 8-10 motorbikes with a fully enclosed service bay.

Motorcycle models include Fat Sabbath, Hilts, Mastiff, GT-SS, Razorback, Akita and FSR. With upcoming models that include the GT-SR, Mushman, and RS13. They come in various colorways with prices that start at P185,000.

Mutt Motorcycles was founded in Birmingham by Benny Thomas, one of the most respected personalities in the British custom bike scene. Thomas specialized in designing, sourcing and customizing high-end motorcycles for Harley Davidson and even Porsche. In 2013, he and his business partner, Will Rigg, spotted a gap in the motorcycle market for small-engine but equally stylish, vintage-looking custom bikes.

“Birmingham is the true birthplace of the British motorcycle industry. Mutt Motorcycles are crafted in the same tradition with how OG custom bikes were built in England decades ago. We’re thrilled that Filipino enthusiasts can now experience true British retro-style motorbikes right here in our country. No other brand has that bespoke approach now,” said Mutt Motorcycles Philippines General Manager Jon Mendiola.

The whole ethos behind the brand is to create a bike that’s easy to ride and maintain, affordable to buy and run, while giving riders the same feel and sound of a classically styled custom machine. Its designers knew they could be accessible and still deliver a classic style with strength and a true custom vibe, but on a leaner machine—a bike that would be easy to handle, quick to respond, and adaptable to any riding condition. By focusing attention on the strength of the build, and stripping away unnecessary frills, Mutt has managed to create super-cool, reliable, small-displacement motorcycles at a level you can just jump on and get going. It uses a robust, reliable starting point for their customs, so acquired a version of the bulletproof Suzuki GN motor, an engine renowned for its power and longevity. The base chassis and drivetrain are produced to Mutt’s meticulous specification and design and are constructed using bespoke parts to create a classic British custom look. Its motorcycles come with 125cc and 250cc 4-stroke Suzuki engines, which deliver superior everyday performance than the vast majority of non-big bike motorcycles on the road.

Great deals await as they celebrate their 10th year anniversary offering up to 40% off including the Black Metal from Birmingham which is yours for the taking.
