After a successful preview of the all-new GAC M6 Pro in the last quarter of last year, the highly-anticipated seven-seater MPV was officially unveiled at the Glorietta Activity Center in Ayala, Makati City recently.
At the public debut inside one of the most populated malls in the metro, GAC Motor PH brand head, Franz Decloedt spearheaded the launch ceremony saying, “GAC Motor Philippines is in pursuit of providing a wide range of vehicles that cater to the dynamic lifestyles of Filipino families and communities.”
“We are excited for the M6 Pro to be experienced and enjoyed by customers throughout the country,” he added.
“This is a great new family MPV that embodies the meticulous craftsmanship, engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology, and high-quality promise that GAC Motor is known for.”
The GAC M6 Pro is a well-designed MPV, combining safety, comfort and practicality in one versatile vehicle. As a functional vehicle, it can be one’s daily driver, a transport solutions provider or adventurer’s “go- to” machine.
On the outside, it’s defined by its matrix LED headlamps that complement its sharp front fascia. This is further distinguished by ultramodern features such as automatic height adjustment, headlights alarm, Follow-Me-Home function, and high beam assist. All of these are inspired by its “wind wing” form.
At its rear, tail lamps are fitted with LED beads that traverse the entire width at the back. Capping this panache are its 18inch top-of-the-line wheels with mecha-cyclone tomahawk hub design.
Inside, it features a large quarter window on the A-pillar with a floating rear view mirror and a straightforward instrument panel design. At the front is its 7-inch LCD instrument cluster that seamlessly extends to the 10.25-inch multi-functional infotainment touchscreen.
The 2-2-3 seating configuration provides more comfortable seating space. The driver seat has motorized 6-way seat adjustment, while the front passenger seat and second row have 4-way manual adjustment.
The second-row passenger chairs also have multi-level adjustable armrests that can be levered back to give larger legroom whenever the last row is used for storage. The third row has an adjustable backrest and spacious legroom. When folded down, it can provide as much as 1,100 liters of storage space. All seats are fitted with top-of-theline leather material with white stitching for added contrast and appeal.
Safety-wise, GAC Motor’s signature ADAS system features adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, high beam assist, integrated cruise assist, traffic jam assist and traffic sign recognition system, among others.
Under its hood is a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission with 174 horsepower and 270 Newton-meters of torque.
The GAC M6 Pro is offered in two variants at the following price points: 1.5L M6 Pro GS P1,230,000 and 1.5L M6 Pro GL P1,598,000.
During the public launch inside the mall, GAC brand ambassador, Dingdong Dantes was there in attendance, wherein hundreds of adoring fans welcomed him.
