Celebrating joy with Chopard’s Happy Café at Raffles Makati
Last March, luxury watch and jewelry brand Chopard celebrated the International Day of Happiness as it made its regional debut of the Maison’s first-ever Happy Café in the Philippines by partnering with Raffles Hotel Makati and transformed the Writer’s Bar for the coming months. Located prominently in the lobby of the hotel, the Happy Café will run until end of May.
As one enters the Chopard Happy Café, they will be greeted by the café’s arch with a neon-lit “Happy Café” sign and will be peppered with a plethora of pink roses and accents of pink pillows and other accessories throughout the café with every detail thoughtfully selected to echo Chopard’s spirit of Joie de Vivre with no effort has been spared to convey the Masion’s philosophy. The café’s furniture with have Chopard branded pillows and candles were specially brought in to transform the space as well as personalized placemats, styled bookshelves and mirrors were intentionally fashioned to evoke the theme of “Happiness”.
At the launch event, both media friends and VIPs in attendance were serenaded by accomplished pianist Jesper Mercado with the dulcet tones, as they indulged in afternoon tea prepared by the Raffles Hotel Makati Executive Chef Bela Rieck.
The Chopard Afternoon High Tea features a carefully curated selection of sweet and savory canapes, and pink-hued cocktails and mocktails to compliment the overall theme of the café. This very exclusive Chopard’s Afternoon High Tea menu will be made available to the public until May 31st with two available windows (from 2:00pm to 3.30pm and 4:00pm to 5.30pm).
Everywhere around the world, Chopard iconizes this joyous occasion with an array of pink roses symbolizing love and happiness. In addition to an afternoon tea experience, guests of the Happy Café are invited to explore Chopard’s exquisite timepiece collection available at select stores: Lucerne Greenbelt 5, Lucerne Solaire, Lucerne Shangri-La Plaza, and L’Atalier Lucerne BGC.
