PLDT GROUP BACKS OPARR FOR REHABWORK

PLDT recently partnered with the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery (OPARR), the agency tasked to coordinate efforts for the rehabilitation of areas affected by Supertyphoon Yolanda. Under the multi-million peso agreement, the PLDT Group will provide OPARR the internet, web hosting, and cloud services from PLDT; a call center system where people can call OPARR for their needs and inquiries from ePLDT; and a 24-month subscription from Smart. Sealing the partnership were PLDT president and CEO Napoleon L. Nazareno and OPARR Secretary Panfilo M.Lacson, third and fourth from left.
