PAL TO FLY MANILA-AUCKLAND ROUTE
To boost tourism travel between the Philippines and New Zealand, the Philippine Airlines (PAL) yesterday said it will start operating a nonstop thriceweekly service on the highly popular Manila-Auckland route starting Dec. 6 this year.
PAL corporate communications chief Cielo Villaluna, in a statement, said PAL flight PR-218 will depart from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 11:15 p.m. and will arrive in Auckland at 2:05 p.m. local time the following day.
For the return trip, PAL flight PR 219 will leave Auckland every Friday, Saturday and Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. local time and will arrive in Naia at 5:45 a.m. local time.
