GORDON REPORT ON DENGVAXIA HEADED FOR SENATE PLENARY WITH 9 SIGNATURES
The controversial committee report on the Dengvaxia scandal outlined by Sen. Richard Gordon in a press conference was headed for the Senate floor, after all, after nine senators signed it.
Senators Grace Poe and Win Gatchalian confirmed that they were the latest to sign the report, prepared by the blue ribbon committee headed by Gordon.
Earlier, Gordon said several senators had committed to sign the report, which Senators Panfilo Lacson and Antonio Trillanes IV rejected.
Gordon’s report found former President Benigno Aquino III, former Health Secretary Janette Garin and former Budget Secretary Florencio Abad liable for the mass vaccination of chil- dren using the Dengvaxia brand.
Aside from Poe and Gatchalian, other senators who signed the report were Gordon, Manny Pacquiao, Senate Majority Leader Vicente Sotto III, Senators JV Ejercito, Gregorio Honasan II, Juan Miguel Zubiri and Nancy Binay.
