GOR­DON RE­PORT ON DENGVAXIA HEADED FOR SEN­ATE PLE­NARY WITH 9 SIG­NA­TURES

The con­tro­ver­sial com­mit­tee re­port on the Dengvaxia scan­dal out­lined by Sen. Richard Gor­don in a press con­fer­ence was headed for the Sen­ate floor, af­ter all, af­ter nine se­na­tors signed it.

Se­na­tors Grace Poe and Win Gatchalian con­firmed that they were the lat­est to sign the re­port, pre­pared by the blue rib­bon com­mit­tee headed by Gor­don.

Ear­lier, Gor­don said sev­eral se­na­tors had com­mit­ted to sign the re­port, which Se­na­tors Pan­filo Lacson and An­to­nio Tril­lanes IV re­jected.

Gor­don’s re­port found for­mer Pres­i­dent Benigno Aquino III, for­mer Health Sec­re­tary Janette Garin and for­mer Bud­get Sec­re­tary Floren­cio Abad li­able for the mass vac­ci­na­tion of chil- dren us­ing the Dengvaxia brand.

Aside from Poe and Gatchalian, other se­na­tors who signed the re­port were Gor­don, Manny Pac­quiao, Sen­ate Ma­jor­ity Leader Vi­cente Sotto III, Se­na­tors JV Ejercito, Gre­go­rio Honasan II, Juan Miguel Zu­biri and Nancy Bi­nay.
