ORCHESTRA OF THE FILIPINO YOUTH HOLDS CONCERT FOR DIPLOMATIC CORPS The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Office of Internatio­nal Economic Relations presented recently a concert featuring Ang Misyon’s Orchestra of the Filipino Youth (OFY) at the DFA Auditorium in Manila. The audience was composed mainly of members of the diplomatic corps in the Philippine­s, with Venezuelan Ambassador to the Philippine­s Capaya Rodriguez Gonzales as special guest. AngMisyon is a music program inspired by Venezuelab­ased El Sistema, which is known worldwide for teaching orchestral music to poor youth.
