OR­CHES­TRA OF THE FILIPINO YOUTH HOLDS CON­CERT FOR DIPLO­MATIC CORPS The Depart­ment of For­eign Af­fairs (DFA) Of­fice of In­ter­na­tional Eco­nomic Re­la­tions pre­sented re­cently a con­cert fea­tur­ing Ang Misyon’s Or­ches­tra of the Filipino Youth (OFY) at the DFA Au­di­to­rium in Manila. The au­di­ence was com­posed mainly of members of the diplo­matic corps in the Philippines, with Venezue­lan Am­bas­sador to the Philippines Ca­paya Ro­driguez Gon­za­les as spe­cial guest. AngMisyon is a music pro­gram in­spired by Venezue­labased El Sis­tema, which is known world­wide for teach­ing or­ches­tral music to poor youth.
