Hermès reopens the doors of its now expanded two-level boutique

-

Seven years since it first opened its flagship store in Makati, luxury brand Hermès welcomed its loyal patrons to a newly refurbished store. The two-level boutique radiates clean lines and open spaces, its 118-square-metre ground floor and 124-square-metre first floor flawlessy joint by a transparent vertical lift that offers guests a clear view of each level. Exuding a touch of traditional Hermès aesthetics, the brand’s ‘Ex Libris’ motif is prominently featured on both floors and highlighted by ‘Grecque’ lighting, a trademark design originally crafted for Hermès’ Fauborg Saint-honoré store in Paris.

Occupying a large part of the new space, “La Maison,” the brand’s line of furniture and home accoutrements, showcases neatly laidout designations for the dining room, living room, and work areas. Exquisitely-designed furniture are strategically distributed and placed

to complete the illusion of the nooks with homeware objects including tableware, cushions, pillows, linens, and even wall fabrics and wallpaper samples.

At the opening celebration, guests were transported to a surprise venue from the store premises—a basketball court that was transformed into a whimsical under-the-sea forest to reflect the brand’s theme for the year, ‘nature at full gallop.’ Here, guests enjoyed a special spread created by the Makati Shangri-la chefs and chill beats by DJ Kat.

Hermès has always made the quality of its products an utmost priority with passionate artisans who contribute to spreading its values and creating beautiful, timeless, and innovative objects in a spirit of constant innovation.
