Edsa Shangri-La, Manila’s iconic Can­tonese restau­rant, Sum­mer Palace, hosted an ex­quis­ite wine din­ner in its newly-re­fur­bished space, rem­i­nis­cent of the Manila galleon trade. In-house Ex­ec­u­tive Chi­nese Chef Tony Sum served a mix of clas­sic and brand new cre­ations—from a suc­cu­lent trio of seafoods and flavour­ful serv­ings of roasted duck and suck­ling pig to hear ty grilled lamb rack and foie gras fried rice. Com­ple­ment­ing the rich feast was a se­lec­tion of fine wines cu­rated by Shangri-La Ho­tels & Re­sor ts cor­po­rate di­rec­tor of wine, Yang Lu.
