Gourmet food and wine enthusiasts delighted in Reservations in Paradise, the much-awaited epicurean weekend conceptualised by Shangri-La's Boracay Resort & Spa, in partnership with wine distributor Bacchus International. The resort's recently-appointed GM ANNE BUSFIELD welcomed guests to the grand event that highlighted a luxurious series of cocktail afternoons amidst the glorious sunsets of Boracay island, dainty champagne brunches and creative al fresco dinners around the resort's beautiful grounds.
Now on its fourth year, this year's Reservations in Paradise showcased the culinary creations of the guest chef OLIVIER PISTRE, Executive Chef of Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, who flew in just for the affair, as well as the resort's very own Chef de Cuisine OMAR UGOLETTI.
The gastronomic weekend featured wine pairings with select vintages from Maison Louis Jadot, Billecart-Salmon, Le Manufacture Vins Fins and Château de Beaucastel.
