Valera and the modern exhibition

The Centre for Campus Art of the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde partnered with

Frannie the Tantoco-Rustia Foundation

Jacinto to launch “Valera and the Modern: An Exhibit on the Life and Work of National Artist for Fashion Design, Ramon Valera” at the college’s School of Design and Arts Gallery. The retrospective exhibition features Valera’s cocktail dresses, evening gowns, and traditional ternos exclusively made for celebrities and Manila’s elite. Pieces were curated from Valera’s loyal clients such as Nedy Tantoco, Gloria Romero, Luz Banzon Magsaysay, and Marites Pineda.
