Vocal powerhouses Mariah Carey and Sam Smith are all set to belt it out in the Philippines

Two big and powerful voices are set to return and take Manila by storm once again. First up is Sam Smith (5 October, MOA Arena), who was featured on Disclosure’s single “Latch” in 2012. This was the English singer/songwriter’s stepping stone to stardom. In 2014, he released his single “Lay Me Down” featuring John Legend. At age 18, she released her first album, Mariah Carey, with Columbia Records in 1990. Her career skyrocketed from then on. Called the “Songbird Supreme,” she is noted for her five-octave vocal range, vocal power, melismatic style, and signature use of the whistle register. Carey has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
