A FEMALE call center agent was robbed by three unidentified men while riding a tricycle at Helvetia Heights in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City Tuesday, October 9.

Sunstar Bacolod withheld the name of the 20year-old victim, who is also a college student.

Senior Inspector Rey Tolosa Jr., head of Police Station 4, said the victim rode a tricycle from Arabay 1 to a call center company in the said barangay past 3 a.m.

She was on her way to work when two men who pretended to be passengers on a tricycle declared holdup after they reached the dimly-lit portion of the said residential village.

She was allegedly threatened at gunpoint.

The robbers reportedly carted away her bag containing two cellular phones worth P18,000, several Identification cards, perfume, cash, and a school uniform.

The two robbers then fled along with the tricycle driver. She was left unharmed.

Tolosa said it is possible that the driver connived with the two suspects.

Tolosa said policemen were deployed at the residential village since Tuesday night to prevent the recurrence of the incident.

“We will exhaust all our efforts to solve this case. We are hoping to identify the perpetrators for the filing of the case,” he added.

Tolosa said policemen will be assigned in the area during night time.

This is the first robbery-holdup incident under Tolosa’s jurisdiction this month.*
