PRO-6 awards 20 cops for accomplishments
THE Police Regional Office (Pro) – western Visayas awarded 19 policemen in Bacolod City and a police chief in Negros Occidental Monday, October 22.
The awarding ceremonies were simultaneously held at the Bacolod Government Center and PRO-6 headquarters in Iloilo City.
The regional headquarters awarded the Philippine National Police (PNP) Merit Medal (Medalya ng Kagalingan) to Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, acting director of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and Chief
Inspector Ruel Culanag, head of Police Station 8, as well as to Police Officers 3 (PO3S) Rommel Vincent Fuentebella, John Paul Baladhay, and Misael Alejo II, Police Officer 2 Jethro Dela China, and Police Officers 1 (PO1S) Jade Apostol, Bryant Howard Dudero, June Paolo Salarda, and Freddie Bragat Jr. for their valuable contribution leading to the arrest of some drug personalities in separate buy-bust operations in the city.
Awarded with the PNP Commendation Medal (Medalya ng Papuri) were Superintendent Victorino Romanillos Jr., deputy city director for administration of BCPO, PO1S Dennis Celeste, Michael John Barrientos, and Arshielle Margen for their drug accomplishments.
The same award was given to Senior Inspector Leo Estopa, head of Police Station 2, Inspector Florentino Abalayan, deputy chief of Police Station 2, PO3 Ludovico Dela Raya, PO2S Ronelo Molato, and Joash Bompat for the arrest and neutralization of an alleged criminal gang leader on October 8.
Meanwhile, Chief Inspector Junji Liba, chief of Valladolid Municipal Police Station, was also awarded at the PRO-6 headquarters with PNP Commendation Medal for the accomplishment on the campaign against wanted persons in the province.
