P284,700 worth of shabu’ seized

AN es­ti­mated P284,700 worth of sus­pected shabu (metham­phetamine hy­drochlo­ride) was sseized in three sep­a­rate drug raids in Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal on Novem­ber 5.

In Ba­colod City, per­son­nel of City Drug En­force­ment Unit (CDEU) con­ducted a buy-bust against Marichu Gra­ciano at Barangay Banago.

Also ar­rested were Ian De­las-alas, a vil­lage watch­man, Jun Gra­ciano, and a mi­nor.

Ros­alie Cayu­pado re­mains at large.

Po­lice re­cov­ered from them nine sa­chets of sus­pected shabu weigh­ing 20 grams worth P240,000, the P1,000 marked money, and coin purse.

All four sus­pects are de­tained at Po­lice Sta­tion 3. In E.B. Ma­ga­lona town, Luis Bo­li­var Jr., 31, of Barangay Tabigue was col­lared in the said vil­lage af­ter he al­legedly yielded seven sa­chets of sus­pected shabu weigh­ing 3.6 grams worth P43,200, the P500 marked money, and P1,000 boo­dle money.

Bo­li­var is a high-value tar­get and an al­leged mem­ber of Div­ina­gra­cia drug group.

In Bi­nal­ba­gan town, Mark Bue­nafe, 30, of Barangay Can­moros, a drug sur­ren­derer was ar­rested in the said vil­lage which re­sulted to a con­fis­ca­tion of three sa­chets of sus­pected shabu worth P1,500, the P300 marked money, three lighters, and a cel­lu­lar phone.*
