Marayo Bank opens in Hi­noba-an

THE Marayo Bank Inc. opened its 11th branch in the mu­nic­i­pal­ity of Hi­noba-an on Novem­ber 28.

Bank chair­man Franklin Fuente­bella, pres­i­dent/gen­eral man­ager Vi­cente Javel­lana Jr., Hi­noba-an Mayor Ernesto Es­trao along with other of­fi­cials and guests at­tended the ac­tiv­ity.

The Hi­noba-an branch is lo­cated along the na­tional high­way at Barana­gay 2.

The open­ing of its Hi­nobaan branch is part of the bank’s pro­gram to ex­pand for fast and ef­fi­cient ser­vice to the peo­ple in the com­mu­ni­ties.

With its Hi­nobaan branch, Marayo Bank will now be able to cover the whole south­ern Ne­gros and parts of Ne­gros Ori­en­tal as it will be ser­vic­ing Cauayan, Can­doni, Si­palay City, Bayawan, Basay and Sta. Catalina.

Dur­ing the last 10 years, Marayo Bank reg­is­tered rapid growth in terms of prof­itabil­ity and re­sources.

Its fi­nan­cial ra­tios, such as re­turn on cap­i­tal, re­turn on as­sets, Cap­i­tal Ad­e­quacy Ra­tio or (CAR), which is a bench­mark used by the Cen­tral Bank in mea­sur­ing the cap­i­tal­iza­tion of banks, are much bet­ter than the in­dus­try stan­dards, both for uni­ver­sal banks, com­mer­cial banks, and ru­ral banks.

Marayo Bank of­fers real es­tate mort­gage loans, chat­tel mort­gage loans, crop loans, teacher’s salary loans, salary loans to pri­vate and gov­ern­ment em­ploy­ees, com­mer­cial loans, al­lot­ment loans, and pen­sion loans.

Other branches in Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal are in Pon­teve­dra, Ka­bankalan, Bi­nal­ba­gan, Ba­colod City, E.B. Ma­ga­lona, Cadiz and San Car­los City.*
