Trac­torco aims to ex­pand mech­a­niza­tion of agri­cul­ture

TRAC­TORCO Com­pany Inc. aims to ex­pand the mech­a­niza­tion of agri­cul­ture in the prov­ince of Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal and the coun­try.

British en­gi­neer David Lock­hart, pres­i­dent of Trac­torco Com­pany Inc., opened his com­pany in Barangay Zone 16 in Tal­isay City, Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal in 2006 with a mis­sion “to be the fore­front of mech­a­niza­tion in the Philip­pines.”

They will hold an “Agrime­chan­ica” on De­cem­ber 12 at their busi­ness cen­ter in Tal­isay wherein they will show­case the avail­able ma­chin­ery and trac­tors that can help those en­gag­ing in the agri­cul­ture busi­ness in­crease their ef­fi­ciency and pro­duc­tiv­ity with less cost.

He said that the more than two decades they have been op­er­at­ing in the prov­ince, they al­ready reached a large mar­ket and in fact, their com­pany was named as the “Trac­tor of the Year” in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Trac­torco sells brand new and re­con­di­tioned trac­tors. They also sell spare parts and do ser­vic­ing.

More­over, dur­ing the Agrime­chan­ica, they have in­vited stake­hold­ers to at­tend the event as they will have prod­uct launches, tech­ni­cal sem­i­nars and field demon­stra­tions.*
