Traveling Hampangan visits Valladolid
THE Traveling Hampangan of Super Lucky Beagler Inc. (SLBI) continues to bring cheers to children and even the young at heart in Negros.
This time, 373 pupils of the Pacol Elementary School in Barangay Pacol, Valladolid were treated to a day of fun and laughter, playing around the inflatable giant slides and other features of the traveling playground on February 8.
School principal Nory Rivera said, “this is the first time for the children to play in the giant slides, and even the teachers enjoyed.”
“More power to the program,” she added, as she thanked SLBI for the “memorable experience, both pupils and teachers will never forget.”
Leading the games was the Hampangan mascot, Lucky, the Beagler.
The traveling playground set up for the day inside the school premises is a corporate social responsibility program of the SLBI, an authorized agent of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and accredited operator of Small Town Lottery in Negros.
Hampangan visits public schools and children’s wards in government hospitals bringing joy to children and families.
Started in 2018, the Traveling Hampangan has already visited elementary schools in Silay, Talisay, EB Magalona and Hinigaran.
It has also brought laughter and hope to sick children confined in public hospitals in Cadiz and Kabankalan.
